About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager – HSEQ, the Technical Writer drives the creation and control of high-quality documentation across the business. You’ll support system and process improvements by delivering clear, accurate and accessible procedures, guides and operational content, while ensuring strong document control within the InEight system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders to capture, document and improve business processes across systems and departments
  
• Produce clear, user-focused documentation (SOPs, work instructions, QRGs, process maps and workflows)
  
• Review, update and standardise documents to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with current practices
  
• Translate complex technical information into simple, practical content for end users
  
• Manage document control in InEight, including versioning, approvals, publishing and audit readiness
  
• Support system implementations with timely, fit-for-purpose documentation aligned to project delivery
  
• Work with SMEs to validate content, identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in documentation standards
  
• Assist the Redpath HSEQ Manager where required;
  

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise and user-friendly documentation
  
• Experience documenting business processes and systems, with solid understanding of SOPs, workflows and process mapping
  
• Ability to translate complex technical or operational information into practical, easy-to-understand content
  
• Knowledge of document control practices, including version control, governance and audit requirements (experience with InEight or similar systems desirable)
  
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs across all levels of the business.
